Michael Choice traded to Indians
Michael Choice was traded by the Texas Rangers to the Cleveland Indians on August 21, 2015 for cash. The outfielder had split 2015 between Triple A Round Rock and the Rangers. He hit .244/.309/.399 with 12 HR, 60 RBI, 53 R, 2 SB in 110 games at Round Rock and was 0 for 1 in 1 game with the Rangers. Over three MLB seasons with the Rangers and Athletics he hit .188/.253/.320 with 9 HR, 36 RBI, 22 R, 1 SB in 96 games. He was originally drafted by the Athletics with the 10th pick of the first round in 2010 and was traded to the Rangers in 2013. Choice will be 26 on November 10.
