Gustavo Pierre traded to Blue Jays

Gustavo Pierre was traded by the Philadelphia Phillies to the Toronto Blue Jays on August 4, 2015 for cash. The 3B\SS played at Double A Reading where he hit .227/.258/.311 with 3 HR, 17 RBI, 22 R, 3 SB in 69 games in 2015. He originally signed with the Blue Jays in 2008 as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic and was traded to the Phillies in 2014. Pierre turned 23 on December 28.
