Ronald Torreyes traded to Astros
Ronald Torreyes was traded by the Chicago Cubs to the Houston Astros on July 2, 2013 in exchange for two international signing bonus slots. Torreyes was a second baseman at Double A Tennessee where he hit .260/.337/.381 with 2 HR, 25 RBI, 31 R, 4 SB in 64 games. He originally signed with the Reds as an amateur free agent in 2010 out of Venezuela. Torreyes will be 21 on September 2nd.
