Jake Arrieta of the Chicago Cubs pitched a no hitter in a 2-0 victory over the Los Angeles Dodgers on August 30, 2015. His line for the game was 9.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 HR, 0 HBP, 1 BB and 12 K in 116 pitches. Kris Bryant hit a home run in the first inning with Chris Denorfia on base. Enrique Hernandez did reach base for the Dodgers in the third on an error by second baseman Starlin Castro.
