Josh Wilson traded to Indians
Josh Wilson was traded by the Texas Rangers to the Cleveland Indians on June 1, 2017 for cash. The second baseman hit 24 for 73, .329/.370/.548 with 4 HR, 16 RBI, 11 R, 0 SB in 22 games at Triple A Round Rock in 2017. Over eight MLB seasons with the Tigers, Rangers, Diamondbacks, Brewers, Mariners, Padres, Devil Rays, Nationals and Marlins he has hit .229/.280/.319 with 10 HR, 84 RBI, 104 R, 14 SB in 431 games. He was originally drafted by the Marlins in the third round in 1999. Wilson turned 36 on March 26.
