Eric Young Jr traded to Yankees

Eric Young Jr was traded by the Milwaukee Brewers to the New York Yankees on August 31, 2016 for cash. The outfielder had hit .263/.338/.339 with 3 HR, 30 RBI, 48 R, 23 SB in 116 games at Triple A Colorado Springs in 2016. Over seven MLB seasons with the Mets, Braves abd Rockies he hit .247/.314/.328 with 8 HR, 88 RBI, 237 R, 144 SB in 557 games. He was originally drafted by the Rockies in the 30th round in 2003. Young turned 31 on May 25.
