Brandon Drury of the Arizona Diamondbacks and Sean Rodriguez of the Pittsburgh Pirates were selected the National League Co-Players of the Week for the span of September 12, 2016 through September 18, 2016.

Over his two MLB seasons with the Diamondbacks he has hit .276/.325/.451 with 17 HR, 56 RBI, 53 R, 0 SB in 141 games. He was originally drafted by the Braves in the 13th round in 2010 and was traded to the Diamondbacks in 2013. Drury turned 24 on August 21.
For the week Rodriguez hit 12 for 29, .414/.455/.931 with 0 2B, 5 HR, 12 RBI, 6 R, 0 SB and 3 BB. This season the first baseman is hitting .265/.348/.523 with 17 HR, 51 RBI, 44 R, 2 SB in 128 games. Over nine MLB seasons with the Pirates, Rays and Angels he has hit .232/.302/.390 with 66 HR, 254 RBI, 276 R, 39 SB in 891 games. He was originally drafted by the Angels in the third round in 2003. Rodriguez turned 31 on April 26.
