Lane Adams was the Kansas City Royals Minor League Player of the Year in 2013. The outfielder split 2013 between Class A Advanced Wilmington and Double A Northwest Arkansas. He hit .276/.362/.424 with 7 HR, 39 RBI, 56 R, 23 SB in 87 games at Wilmington and hit .244/.333/.397 with 5 HR, 26 RBI, 30 R, 15 SB in 44 games at Northwest Arkansas. He was originally drafted by the Royals in the 13th round in 2009. Adams turned 24 on November 13.
