David Huff traded to Giants

David Huff was traded by the New York Yankees to the San Francisco Giants on January 24, 2014 in exchange for cash. The LHP has five seasons MLB experience pitching with the Yankees and Indians. He had been selected off waivers by the Yankees in May 2013 an split 2013 between Triple A Columbus, the Indians, Triple A Scranton/Wilkes Barre and the Yankees. 

He was 3-1, 4.07 ERA, 28 K, 1.23 WHIP in 24.1 IP over 9 games at Columbus, was 0-0, 15.00 ERA, 5 K, 2.67 WHIP in 3.0 IP over 3 games with the Indians, was 1-6, 3.84 ERA, 64 K, 1.31 WHIP, 1 SV in 68.0 IP over 13 games at Scranton/Wilkes Barre, and was 3-1, 4.67 ERA, 26 K, 0.98 WHIP in 34.2 IP over 11 games with the Yankees. For his MLB career he is 21-27, 5.32 ERA, 188 K, 1.50 WHIP in 323.0 IP over 69 games. He was originally drafted by the Indians with the 39th pick of the first round in 2006. Huff will be 30 on August 22.
