Colorado Rockies 2013 Minor League Player of the Year

Rosell Herrera was the Colorado Rockies Minor League Player of the Year in 2013. The shortstop played in 2013 at Class A Asheville. He hit .343/.419/.515 with 16 HR, 76 RBI, 83 R, 21 SB in 126 games. He originally signed with the Rockies in 2009 as an amateur free agent out of the Dominican Republic. Herrera turned 21 on October 16.
