Houston Astros 2013 Minor League Player of the Year

George Springer was the Houston Astros Minor League Player of the Year in 2013. The outfielder split 2013 between Double A Corpus Christi and Triple A Oklahoma City of the Houston Astros. He hit .297/.399/.579 with 19 HR, 55 RBI, 56 R, 23 SB in 73 games at Corpus Christi and hit .311/.425/.626 with 18 HR, 53 RBI, 50 R, 22 SB in 62 games at Oklahoma City. He was originally drafted by the Astros with the 11th pick of the first round in 2011. Springer will be 25 on September 19.
