Austin Adams traded to Angels
Austin Adams was traded by the Cleveland Indians to the Los Angeles Angels on February 10, 2017 for cash. The RHP split 2016 between Triple A Columbus and the Indians. He was 2-4, 4.54 ERA, 41 K, 1.41 WHIP, .291 BAA, 8 SV in 37.2 IP over 34 games at Columbus and 0-0, 9.82 ERA, 17 K, 1.85 WHIP, .333 BAA in 18.1 IP over 19 games with the Indians. Over three MLB seasons with the Indians he was 2-0, 6.29 ERA, 44 K, 1.60 WHIP, .299 BAA, 1 SV in 58.2 IP over 53 games. He was originally drafted by the Indians in the fifth round in 2009. Adams will be 31 on August 19.
