Trea Turner Hits for Cycle vs Rockies 042517
Trea Turner of the Washington Nationals hit for the cycle in a 15-12 victory over the Colorado Rockies on April 25, 2017. For the game he was 4 for 6 with 1 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR, 7 RBI and 4 R while batting second and playing shortstop. He singled in the first inning, doubled in the second, hit a two-run home run in the sixth and tripled in the seventh. This season he is hitting 11 for 38, .289/.308/.526 with 1 HR, 9 RBI, 7 R, 3 SB in 10 games. Over three MLB seasons with the Nationals he has hit .325/.356/.538 with 15 HR, 50 RBI, 65 R, 38 SB in 110 games. He was originally drafted by the Padres with the 13th pick of the first round in 2014 and traded to the Nationals in 2015. Turner will be 24 on June 30.
