Sam Donko of the Virginia Commonwealth Rams and Durin O'Linger of the Davidson Wildcats were selected the Atlantic 10 Conference baseball co-pitchers of the week for the period that spanned April 17, 2017 through April 23, 2017.
Senior RHP Donko made three appearances out of the bullpen earning one save against VMI and two against Fordham. His combined pitching line was 4.2 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 HR, 0 HBP, 0 BB and 4 K. He also became the program's all time leader with 31 saves. This season he is 1-2, 0.95 ERA, 39 K, 0.80 WHIP, .181 BAA, 11 SV in 38.0 IP over 18 games. The Rams are 25-15.
Senior RHP O'Linger pitched a complete game 6-0 shutout against North Carolina A&T with a pitching line of 9.0 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 HR, 0 HBP, 0 BB and 9 K. This season he is 4-2, 3.58 ERA, 60 K, 1.43 WHIP, .283 BAA in 60.1 IP over 10 GS. The Wildcats are 21-17.
