Michael Delease of the Central Connecticut Blue Devils and Steve Theetge of the Bryant Bulldogs were selected the Northeastern Conference baseball co-pitchers of the week for the period that spanned April 17, 2017 through April 23, 2017.
Freshman RHP Delease pitched a complete game 8-0 shutout against Bryant with a pitching line of 7.0 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 HR, 1 HBP, 0 BB and 0 K. This season he is 3-0, 1.67 ERA, 12 K, 1.00 WHIP, .211 BAA in 27.0 IP over 8 games with 4 GS. The Blue Devils are 21-16.
Sophomore LHP Theetge pitched a complete game 7-0 shutout against Central Connecticut with a pitching line of 7.0 IP, 4 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 HR, 0 HBP, 2 BB and 3 K. This season he is 5-5, 4.84 ERA, 34 K, 1.55 WHIP, .237 BAA in 48.1 IP over 10 games with 9 GS. The Bulldogs are 17-21.
