The junior LHP had a no decision in a 4-2 victory over UCLA with a pitching line of 7.1 IP, 2 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 HR, 1 HBP, 3 BB and 10 K. He had also earned the award opening week. This season he is 5-1, 0.75 ERA, 80 K, 0.80 WHIP, .163 BAA in 72.1 IP over 10 GS.  The Beavers are 32-3.
