Juan Graterol traded to Angels

Juan Graterol was traded by the Toronto Blue Jays to the Los Angeles Angels on April 18, 2017 for a PTBNL. The catcher hit 6 for 14, .429/.429.429 with 0 HR, 0 RBI, 2 R, 0 SB at Triple A Buffalo in 2017. He had played for the Angels in 2016 hitting 4 for 14, .286/.286/.429 with 0 HR, 3 RBI, 2 R, 0 SB in 9 games plus hit 68 for 227, .300/.340/.370 with 2 HR, 23 RBI, 24 R, 2 SB in 68 games at Triple A Salt Lake City. The off season was then spent riding the waiver wire between the Reds, Diamondbacks, Angels again and finally the Blue Jays. He originally signed with the Royals in 2005 as an amateur free agent from Venezuela. Graterol turned 28 on February 14.
