Junior third baseman Anthony hit 11 for 16, .688 with 3 2B, 1 HR, 9 RBI, 6 R, 2 SB, 1 BB, 1 HBP in 4 games. This season he is hitting 45 for 155, .290/.403/.381 with 1 HR, 26 RBI, 24 R, 6 SB in 43 games. The Tigers are 30-13.
Junior second baseman Mahan hit 11 for 16, .688 with 2 2B, 1 HR, 7 RBI, 5 R, 0 SB, 2 BB, 1 HBP in 5 games. That included a 5 for 5 game against #8 ranked LSU with 2 2B, 3 RBI and 1 R. He had also earned the award week 3. This season he is hitting 55 for 164, .335/.380/.591 with 7 HR, 41 RBI, 35 R, 6 SB in 41 games. The Wildcats are 28-13.
