PJ Walters traded to Nationals
P.J. Walters was traded by the Los Angeles Dodgers to the Washington Nationals on June 1, 2015 for cash. The RHP split 2015 between Double A Tulsa and Triple A Oklahoma City. He was 0-1, 5.40 ERA, 5 K, 2.20 WHIP, .375 BAA in 5.0 IP in 1 game at Tulsa and 2-1, 4.70 ERA, 15 K, 1.52 WHIP, .315 BAA in 23.0 IP over 4 games at Oklahoma City. He does have five seasons MLB experience with the Twins, Blue Jays and Cardinals going 6-10, 6.28 ERA, 104 K, 1.58 WHIP, .291 BAA in 152.0 IP over 40 games with 24 GS. He was originally drafted by the Cardinals in the 11th round in 2006. Walters turned 30 on March 12.
