Kris Bryant of the Chicago Cubs was selected the National League Rookie of the Month for August 2015. During the month the third baseman hit 33 for 100, .330/.422/.620 with 6 2B, 1 3B, 7 HR, 20 RBI, 19 R, 2 SB and 12 BB in 28 games. This season he has hit .321/.364/.679 with 3 HR, 10 RBI, 7 R, 2 SB in 7 games at Triple A Iowa and .269/.369/.487 with 22 HR, 84 RBI, 74 R, 12 SB in 123 games with the Cubs. He also won the award in May. He was originally drafted by the Cubs with the second pick of the first round in 2013. Bryant turned 23 on Januray 4th.
