Chris Heisey traded to Dodgers

Chris Heisey was traded by the Toronto Blue Jays to the Los Angeles Dodgers on August 31, 2015 for a PTBNL. The outfielder returns to the Dodgers where was released on August 7 before the Blue Jays signed him as a free agent. He had split 2015 between Triple A Oklahoma City and the Dodgers and Triple A Buffalo. He hit .236/.355/.481 with 14 HR, 37 RBI, 42 R, 2 SB in 63 games at Oklahoma City, .154/.353/.192 with 0 HR, 0 RBI, 5 R, 0 SB in 17 games with the Dodgers and .155/.269/.259 with 2 HR, 2 RBI, 5 R, 0 SB in 17 games at Buffalo. Over six MLB seasons with the Dodgers and Reds he has hit .246/.300/.417 with 50 HR, 147 RBI, 189 R, 25 SB in 560 games. He was originally drafted by the Reds in the 17th round in 2006 and was traded to the Dodgers in 2014. Heisey will be 31 on December 14.
