Eric O'Flaherty was traded by the Oakland Athletics to the New York Mets on August 4, 2015 along with cash for a PTBNL. The LHP had split 2015 between Class A Advanced Stockton and Triple A Nashville while rehabbing and with the Athletics. He was 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 0 K, 1.00 WHIP, .250 BAA in 1.0 IP in 1 game at Stockton, 0-0, 0.00 ERA, 0 K, 2.00 WHIP, .400 BAA in 1.0 IP in 1 game at Nashville and 1-2, 5.91 ERA, 15 K, 1.97 WHIP, .312 BAA in 21.1 IP over 25 games with the Athletics. Over 10 MLB seasons with the Mets, Athletics, Braves and Mariners he is 22-11, 3.09 ERA, 276 K, 1.28 WHIP, .246 BAA, 1 SV in 362.0 IP over 422 games. He was originally drafted by the Mariners in the sixth round in 2003. O'Flaherty turned 30 on February 5th.
