Armando Araiza traded to Orioles

Armando Araiza was traded by the Atlanta Braves to the Baltimore Orioles on May 4, 2017 for cash. The catcher had hit 5 for 35, .143/.167/.286 with 1 HR, 2 RBI, 5 R, 0 SB in 11 games at Double A Mississippi in 2017. He originally signed with the Rays in 2010 as an amateur free agent out of Mexico. Araiza will be 24 on June 19.
