Mark Teahen traded to Reds
Mark Teahen was traded by the Arizona Diamondbacks to the Cincinnati Reds on May 1, 2013 for a player to be named later. Teahen is a 3B\1B\OF with seven seasons MLB experience playing with the Blue Jays, White Sox and Royals. At the time of the trade he was with Triple A Reno of the Diamondbacks where he was hitting .211/.318/.254 with 0 HR, 5 RBI, 12 R, 0 SB in 22 games. He had played 2012 with Triple A Syracuse of the Nationals where he hit .260/.328/.360 with 3 HR, 63 RBI, 60 R, 9 SB in 124 games. For his MLB career he has hit .264/.327/.409 with 67 HR, 332 RBI, 388 R, 45 SB in 831 games. He was originally drafted by the Athletics with the 39th pick of the first round in 2002. Teahen will be 32 on September 6th.
