I am continuing to follow Bubba Starling and Fred Ford as they make their way up the minor league ranks of the Kansas City Royals. This is the seventh update for 2013. Both Bubba and Fred are at Class A Lexington in the South Atlantic League. The Legends are currently 22-21.
Starling played only one game last week as he raised his average to .213/.286/.354 with 4 HR, 17 RBI, 18 R, 5 SB in 35 games. He is back in Kansas City exploring the option of having LASIK to correct some eye issues.
Ford is in a six game hitting streak as he has raised his average 20 points this week as he is now hitting .188/.293/.340 with 5 HR, 16 RBI, 14 R, 1 SB in 43 games.
