Mike Trout hits for cycle vs Mariners 052113
Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels hit for the cycle in a 12-0 victory over the Seattle Mariners on May 21, 3013. For the game he was 4 for 5 with a double, triple, home run, 5 RBI, 2 runs and a steal while playing center field. After striking out in the first Trout hit a single in the third, a triple in the fourth, a double in the sixth and a solo home run in the eighth. Trout is the youngest person to hit for the cycle in American League history. He will be 22 on August 7th. For the season he is hitting .293/.373/.558 with 9 HR, 34 RBI, 31 R, 9 SB in 45 games. For his MLB career he has hit .304/.377/.538 with 44 HR, 133 RBI, 180 R, 62 SB in 224 games. He was originally drafted by the Angels with the 25th pick of the first round in 2009.
