Casper Wells traded to White Sox
Casper Wells was traded by the Oakland Athletics to the Chicago White Sox on April 29, 2013 in exchange for cash. That was just a week after he had been traded to the Athletics from the Blue Jays. He was hitless in five at bats over three games with the Athletics. He had split 2012 between Triple A Tacoma and the Mariners. He hit .239/.415/.479 with 2 HR, 14 RBI, 18 R, 2 SB in 22 games at Tacoma and hit .228/.302/.396 with 10 HR, 36 RBI, 42 R, 3 SB in 93 games with the Mariners. For his four season MLB career he has hit .244/.314/.431 with 25 HR, 80 RBI, 86 R, 6 SB in 228 games. He was originally drafted by the Tigers in the 14th round in 2005. Wells turned 28 on November 23.
