I am continuing to follow Bubba Starling and Fred Ford as they make their way up the minor league ranks of the Kansas City Royals. This is the fifth update for 2013. Both Bubba and Fred are at Class A Lexington in the South Atlantic League. The Legends are currently 13-16.
Starling had his best week yet to getting his average up to the Mendoza line as he is hitting .200/.263/.352 with 4 HR, 14 RBI, 15 R, 2 SB in 28 games.
Ford is mired in a 2 for 35 slump over his last 10 games as he is now hitting .172/.316/.280 with 2 HR, 7 RBI, 8 R, 1 SB in 29 games.
