Max Scherzer pitches no-hitter vs Mets 100315

Max Scherzer of the Washington Nationals pitched a no-hitter in a 2-0 victory against the New York Mets on October 3, 2015. His line for the game was 9.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R. 0 ER, 0 BB, 17 K in 109 pitches. The Mets' Kevin Plawecki reached base on a throwing error in the sixth to keep it from being a perfect game. This season the RHP was 14-12, 2.79 ERA, 276 K, 0.92 WHIP, .208 BAA in 228.2 IP over 33 games.
