Royals await Wild Card Winner

The Kansas City Royals await the outcome of the American League Wild Card game between the Houston Astros and New York Yankees. The Royals fared the same against both teams in 2015 with a 2-4 record. The home record was 2-1 against both while they Royals were swept going 0-3 at both opposing team fields. That would point to another positive for the Royals gaining home field advantage in the playoffs.
