Corey Seager California League MVP 2014

Corey Seager was California League MVP in 2014. The shortstop played at Class A Advanced Rancho Cucamonga of the Los Angeles Dodgers before being promoted to Double A Chattanooga. He hit .352/.411/.633 with 18 HR, 70 RBI, 61 R, 5 SB in 80 games at Rancho Cucamonga and .345/.381/.534 with 2 HR, 27 RBI, 28 R, 1 SB in 38 games at Chattanooga. He was originally drafted by the Dodgers with the 18th pick of the first round in 2012. Seager turned 20 on April 27.
