Brendan Ryan traded to Yankees
Brendan Ryan was traded by the Seattle Mariners to the New York Yankees on September 11, 2013 in exchange for a player to be named later. This season the shortstop hit .192/.254/.265 with 3 HR, 21 RBI, 23 R, 4 SB in 87 games with the Mariners. Over his seven season MLB career playing with the Mariners and Cardinals he has hit .238/.300/.320 with 18 HR, 186 RBI, 281 R, 67 SB in 766 games. He was originally drafted by the Cardinals in the seventh round in 2003. Ryan turned 31 on March 26.
