While the Royals have an elite bullpen the back of the Giants' pitching staff may as well be the Other Guys. Rookie Hunter Strickland is their closest to a seventh inning guy but Jeremy Affeldt has served as the bridge no matter what inning he enters. Sergio Romo and Santiago Casilla are now the eighth and ninth inning standards although Romo had once been the closer. I'll be looking at how all three did this season, if they pitched against the Royals in August, their September numbers and their performance so far in the playoffs.
