The junior RHP\OF Anderson picked up the win in a 17-0 victory over top ranked Florida State with a pitching line of 8.0 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 HR, 0 HBP, 2 BB and 5 K. This season he is 4-1, 1.74 ERA, 24 K, 1.19 WHIP, .220 BAA in 31.0 IP over 6 games with 4 GS. He is also hitting 23 for 66, .348/.411/.561 with 4 HR, 15 RBI, 17 R, 0 SB in 17 games. The Hokies are 14-9.
The junior LHP\1B McKay picked up the win in a 6-0 victory over Boston College with a pitching line of 7.0 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 0 HR, 0 HBP, 1 BB and 12 K. He had also earned the award last week. This season he is 4-0, 0.36 ERA, 41 K, 0.76 WHIP, .155 BAA in 25.0 IP over 4 games. He is also hitting 27 for 58, .466/.575/.741 with 4 HR, 17 RBI, 19 R, 0 SB in 19 games. The Cardinals are 19-1.
