Tyler Cloyd gets first MLB win

Tyler Cloyd of the Philadelphia Phillies got his first MLB win with a 4-2 victory over the Cincinnati Reds. His line for the game was 7.0 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 9 K on 107 pitches. He started the season with Double A Reading and Triple A Lehigh Valley. In 2012 he has been 3-0 with a 1.80 ERA, 20 K, 1.00 WHIP in 25.0 IP over 4 games with Reading, was 12-1 with a 2.35 ERA, 93 K, 1.01 WHIP in 142.0 IP over 22 games with Lehigh Valley and is 1-1 with a 2.77 ERA, 14 K, 1.00 WHIP in 13.0 IP over 2 games with Philadelphia. He was originally drafted by the Phillies in the 18th round in 2008. He played in college at the University-Nebraska at Omaha which is also my alma mater. Cloyd turned 25 on May 16.
