Triple A Playoffs 090912

All four semifinals series were decided today. In the International League Pawtucket and Charlotte won their series. In the Pacific Coast League Omaha and Reno won their series.

The Pawtucket Red Sox defeated the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees 7 to 1 to clinch the series 3 games to 1. Nelson Figueroa was the winning pitcher. Bryce Brentz and Juan Carlos Linares had the hot bats in the series hitting .429 and .417 respectively.

The Charlotte Knights defeated the Indianapolis Indians 6-4 to clinch the series 3 games to 1. Matt Zaleski was the winning pitcher. Seth Loman and Josh Phegley had the hot bats hitting .500 and .429 respectively.

The Omaha Storm Chasers defeated the Albuquerque Isotopes 16-7 to take the series 3 games to 2. Donnie Joseph picked up the win in relief. Mitch Maier was 5 for 5 to finish the series hitting .429 while Derrick Robinson hit .625. 

The Reno Aces defeated the Sacramento River Cats 7-4 to take the series 3 games to 2. Zach Kroenke picked up the win in relief. The Aces were led by Josh Bell and A J Pollock who hit .389 and .304 respectively.
