John Ely Pacific Coast League Pitcher of Year 2012

John Ely of the Albuquerque Isotopes was awarded the Pacific Coast League Pitcher of the Year. Albuquerque is the Triple A team of the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 2012 he was 14-7 with a 3.20 ERA, 165 K, 1.10 WHIP in 168.2 IP over 27 games with Albuquerque. He has some MLB experience over three seasons with the Dodgers and has been 4-12 with a 5.49 ERA, 91 K, 1.47 WHIP in 114.2 IP over 24 games. He was originally drafted by the White Sox in the third round in 2007. Ely turned 26 on May 13.
