Gio Gonzalez first 20 game winner 2012

Gio Gonzalez of the Washington Nationals became the first 20 game winner of 2012 with a 10-4 victory over the Milwaukee Brewers on September 22. His line for the game was 7.0 IP, 3 H, 2 R, 0 ER, 1 BB, 5 K in 90 pitches. In 2012 he is 20-8 with a 2.84 ERA, 201 K, 1.12 WHIP in 193.1 IP over 31 games with Washington. It is the first 20 win season for Gonzalez. For his MLB career he is 58-40 with a 3.64 ERA, 712 K, 1.33 WHIP in 728.2 IP over 126 games. He was originally drafted by the White Sox with the 38th pick of the first round in 2004. Gonzalez turned 27 on September 19.
