Dan Black Carolina League MVP 2012

Dan Black of the Winston-Salem Dash was awarded the Carolina League MVP. Winston-Salem is the Class A Advanced team of the Chicago White Sox. In 2012 the first baseman hit .315/.392/.483 with 17 HR, 88 RBI, 82 R, 5 SB in 129 games. He was originally drafted by the White Sox in the 14th round in 2009. Black turned 25 on July 2nd.
