Austin Wright Florida State League Pitcher of Year 2012

Austin Wright of the Clearwater Threshers was awarded the Florida State League Pitcher of the Year. Clearwater is the Class A Advanced team of the Philadelphia Phillies. In 2012 the LHP was 11-5 with a 3.47 ERA, 133 K, 1.40 WHIP in 147.2 IP over 27 games. He was originally drafted by the Phillies in the eighth round in 2011. Wright will be 23 on September 26.
